Desktop pc

I built my very own desktop computer. The components being an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, TUF Gaming B550-PLUS Wifi 2, Corsair Vengeance 32gb DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz, & Corsair RM750x power supply. The purpose of this Project is to build a hacking lab and a media server. The desktop will allow me to practice networking, Ethical Hacking, and Managing users who can access my Plex server. Since this was the first time building my own desktop I have learned many valuable lessons along the way. I have gained a deeper understanding of how the power supply works and how to figure out which cord goes to which port on both the power supply and motherboard, that if the CPU has integrated graphics then there is no need for a separate graphics card, and finally how important Ram channeling is. When building my pc I learned how to effectively troubleshoot and research for when problems arise. When a problem occurred whether that be the pc not turning on or performance not being as optimal as it should be I would quickly go online and find either YouTube videos or reddit posts to find out if people have had the same issues as I had. This allowed me to find very interesting Reddit communities and YouTube channels that are very informative on the aspect of building and troubleshooting desktop PCs. When building a pc, cable management is a huge factor that plays into the experience. While building my desktop pc I have learned how to manage the many different cables in the back of the case using a variety of tools such as zip ties, Velcro straps, magnets, and label makers to control and identify the cables used in my build which will allow me in the future to quickly open, analyze, troubleshoot, upgrade any components, or solve any problems that I may have with my desktop. The skills I have gained while building my Desktop PC are as follows; Troubleshooting, Researching, Cable Management, Using software to analyze current settings and hardware to find bottlenecks, Hardware Knowledge.
